How I Do Business

Client Feedback

“As a former sales and marketing executive, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many nationally recognized firms who are considered to be the best in the business. I can unequivocally add Tellstone Ronnie to that list. Tellstone’s web design is one of New Yorks best kept secrets. Tellstone possesses a rare blend of technical expertise, design flair, copywriting talent and business savvy. Tellstone took the time to understand our business, identified the best approach to communicate with our customers, and developed a website that is delivering results. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Tellstone Ronnie.”

My Design Philosophy

Some of the major ideas and design principles I incorporate into my website designs:

A Little Bit About Me

I work with small and medium sized businesses of all kinds to develop websites that set them apart from their competition. My sites tend to focus on simplicity and utilize generous whitespace, creative typography, and beautiful imagery.

A little bit about my upbringing: My parents were small business owners, and I learned a lot about how business works from them. I learned how to think about business. This intellectual foundation is invaluable. It gives me the tools to understand the businesses behind the websites I build, and helps me see opportunities in places that others might not see.

I haven’t always built websites. Before settling into web design my life was a bit of an adventure. I taught ESL in South Korea for over 3 years, picked apples in New Zealand, traded stocks and currencies, oversaw development of a new product, and took a few around the world trips. I constantly draw on these experiences in my work and in my life.

Things I’m Good At:

  • Turning a clients website vision into reality
  • Completing projects fast and on time
  • Building memorable digital experiences
  • Late nights
  • Coffee

Things I’m Not Good At:

  • Driving faster than the speed limit
  • Weather below 40°
  • Dribbling a basketball
  • Flat tires
